Orinda Union School District - Before & After School Care

We are looking forward to another fantastic year of Before and After School Care (BASC) as we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year!

BASC registration for 26’-27’ begins on July 27th as part of the Aeries Annual Data Verification. Starting on this date, new and returning families can access the EZChildTrack registration link directly through Aeries. Additional information concerning the Aeries Annual Data Verification will be sent out via ParentSquare.

Registration will be open from Monday, July 27th - Monday, August 10th at 8pm.

Orinda Union School District Before and After School Care (BASC) programs offer an extended day recreation program to all students attending their prospective elementary schools for a fee. (Fees are waived for students who are eligible for free or reduced-price meal (FRPM), are English learners (EL), and/or who are foster youth)

BASC is open from 7 AM-6 PM on all school days. BASC is closed on school holidays, breaks, staff development days, and summer.

Each BASC program is located on the campus of their respective school.

Glorietta Elementary School: Gopher Club
Sleepy Hollow Elementary School: Coyote Club
Wagner Ranch Elementary School: Bandit Club

Our Program

BASC’s dedicated and trained staff provide a safe and familiar place for students to develop their social emotional skills, build friendships, gain new experiences and have fun. We provide snacks and various activities including: arts and crafts, STEM, games, sensory experiences and outdoor activities.

Our program also provides:
