Construction of a new Multi-Purpose Room at Sleepy Hollow Elementary School, including an ADA-accessible elevator, utility improvements, relocation of BASC facilities and portable classrooms, and expansion of the parking lot.

Construction of a new Student Services Building at Orinda Intermediate School, including relocation of counseling and administrative offices, a new Wellness Center, ADA-accessible walkways and ramps, and covered pathways.

Installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in instructional spaces throughout the District, along with mechanical and electrical upgrades necessary to support the new systems.

Project Status: Construction Closeout
Districtwide modernization improvements include replacement of single-pane windows with energy-efficient dual-pane windows, upgrades and replacement of aging doors, classroom insulation, PA/Clock and communication system upgrades, security cameras and campus safety improvements, accessibility and ADA improvements, restroom upgrades, interior and exterior painting, and removal of outdated heating equipment and related infrastructure.
Major Summer 2026 modernization work was completed at Sleepy Hollow Elementary School, Wagner Ranch Elementary School, and Orinda Intermediate School, including the OIS 30s Wing. Remaining punch-list, certification, and project closeout activities will continue as needed.
