Contractor Requirements
Department of Industrial Relations (DIR)
Contractors and subcontractors performing public works for the District must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), as required by Labor Code section 1725.5.
California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA)
The Orinda Union School District participates in the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA).
Contractors interested in being considered for District public works projects through the CUPCCAA informal bidding process are encouraged to submit the District's CUPCCAA Contractor Application.
Contractor Prequalification
Contractors must meet all applicable District and State pre-qualification requirements prior to bidding on projects for which pre-qualification is required. Specific requirements will be identified in each project's bid documents.
