 OYS Winter Basketball Registration Is OpenOrinda Youth Sports (OYS) Winter Basketball is returning in January 2025! Divisions are offered for Kindergarten through 5th grade divisions.
Registration is currently open and closes at 11:59 PM on Sunday, November 2. League practices begin the week of January 19 with first games starting on Saturday, January 24. The 7-week season will run through March 14; games will not be held February 14.
Any parents/guardians interested in coaching will be able to indicate interest on the registration prompts. Teams are created based on school location, coach requests, and randomization. *NEW- to ensure fairness and efficiency in team formation, player requests will be limited at the league’s discretion. Each coach is permitted to make up to the specified number of requests per the City’s allotment.
League information will be posted on our online catalog in late August, and families can register by clicking on the Youth Sports tab and locating the correct age division. Please contact Recreation Coordinator Spencer Beattie at sbeattie@cityoforinda.org with any questions. |
