LCAP Development Process for the 2026-2027 School Year

    
Community Input and Public Hearing 
The Orinda Union School District (OUSD) recently updated the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) for the 2026-2027 school year. The LCAP is a state-mandated document that outlines our District priorities and tracks progress through specific performance metrics. 
 
Public Hearing on the LCAP and Community Input
A draft of the 2026-2027 OUSD LCAP, including proposed budget allocations, was presented at a public hearing during the June 1, 2026 meeting of the OUSD Board of Trustees.

In addition to participating in the public hearing, the public was able to provide feedback on the 2026-2027 LCAP by emailing the Superintendent, Aida Glimme. Feedback was due by June 6th, 2026
 
The Orinda 2024-2027 LCAP Goals include required state priorities:
     
OUSD LCAP GOALS
     
  • Goal 1: Student Learning: Enhance student learning outcomes by implementing a differentiated, evidence-based curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all students while supporting districtwide alignment in instructional practices to ensure educational equity across all grade and department levels. 
  • Goal 2: School Climate and Social-Emotional Support: Foster a nurturing educational environment that promotes wellness and social-emotional well-being for all students by embedding equity and inclusivity at the core of our student programs. 
  • Goal 3: Highly Qualified Staff: Recruit and retain highly-qualified staff in an environment where educators feel valued and supported to excel in their roles, contributing to the overall excellence and dedication to student success. 
  • Goal 4: Responsible Management of Resources: The district will ensure long-term fiscal stability and effectively manage facility needs.
