Business Services Staff

The Business Services Department is dedicated to providing the Orinda Union School District (OUSD) students, parents, and staff with exemplary services. These services include budget development and monitoring, payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, attendance accounting, as well as inter and intradistrict transfers, and summer student enrollment. The Business Services Department is also responsible for: Parcel Tax Senior Exemption application process, the Parcel Tax Independent Citizens Oversight Committee and processing Free and Reduced Lunch Applications.

The following OUSD Business Services staff members share in the implementation of these District Business Service functions:


Teresa Sidrian

The Director of Business Services plans, organizes and supervises the accounting and payroll departments, assumes responsibility for the development and administration of the district-wide budget, and administers insurance and risk management. The Director of Business Services serves on the District negotiating team and serves on the Parcel Tax Independent Citizens Oversight Committee. My goal is to ensure resources are allocated in the appropriate areas to align with the academic and operational goals of the District.

As the District Accountant, providing financial monitoring and budgetary assistance to the various schools and departments in the District is primary. This involves maintaining complete, comprehensive financial records and preparing monthly detailed reports of revenues and expenses for each site as well as attendance record compilation and reporting to the state. My goal is to ensure fiscal accountability and effective use of public funds to invoke community trust.

The Payroll Department is a service-oriented department. My duties entail processing payroll and benefits. I strive to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages to District employees and the payment of all payroll-related obligations. My goal is to assist employees and administrative departments to process payroll information, answer inquiries and resolve problems. I have over thirty years experience in the payroll and accounting fields.

My main responsibility is Accounts Payable. I can also help you with parcel tax senior exemptions. My primary mission is to provide professional, courteous and efficient service internally as well as externally to vendors and community.

My main responsibility is Accounts Receivable. I also can assist with student transfer requests, and student registration during the summer months, free lunch program and accounts receivable. My goal is to provide a professional and pleasant experience for everyone contacting the district.
