Tips To Improve Home Internet Connections During Zoom Sessions

Why do devices get kicked off of Zoom meetings and I have to reconnect and rejoin?

  • Too far away from  wireless router

  • Poor service/hardware from provider 

  • Too many simultaneous Zoom or high bandwidth activities

  • May need to reboot your router and/or device

  • Router may not have the latest software updates

  • Make sure you router is secure, but not too secure

  • Make sure you don’t have any uninvited guests on your wireless

  • 5GHz and 2.4 Ghz

    • 5GHz faster speeds smaller coverage area

    • Slower speeds but larger coverage area
