Teacher Announcements
Important Reminders:
  • PLEASE email BOTH of us at ALL times (even if one of us is not teaching)
  • 2nd graders should be able to tie their shoes. If not, practice at home.
  • 2nd graders should know right and left.
  • When requesting Independent Study contracts, please email us 7 days in advance; IS contracts take time to compile
  • Remember to send a NUTRITIOUS snack with your child EACH DAY, even if they say they don't want snack.

Survival Guide: Mrs. H & Ms. O's Survival Guide for 2nd Grade, distributed on Back to School Night, is available online in two parts: "Programs, Procedures & Homework" and "Curriculum." You can find them on the left navigation bar.

Reminders
  • Daily: Bring a NUTRITIOUS snack
  • Monday: Return Friday Folder and signed Weekly Report
  • Tuesday:
    • Wear P.E. shoes
    • Return library book for Wednesday
  • Thursday: Wear P.E. shoes
  • Friday: Turn in homework binder. Parents, please initial the front page of each assignment to indicate that you've reviewed and corrected it and discussed any errors with your child.
