{podcast logo} We’re excited to announce a new OIS website feature, Podcasting! On the first day of each week, Mr. Randall will post a Podcast to bring you up-to-date on what will be happening on campus during the week.

What is Podcasting? Podcasting is a way to receive multimedia files over the Internet. You can listen to and/or view the Podcast from your computer on the OIS Website or download the Podcast to your own computer (using free software such as iTunes, QuickTime, or Windows Media Player). You can also transfer the file to a portable media player (such as an iPod or any other mobile MP3 player).

How will Mr. Randall Present a Podcast? On the first day of each week, a new Podcast will be available on the OIS Website under the Communications channel. Each Podcast will be no longer than one minute and thirty seconds and will be a voice recording of campus events.

How will I know a new Podcast is available? Each week you will receive an email letting you know that a new Podcast has been posted. To listen to the Podcast, just click on the link in the email.

Did you know? The word Podcast might sound strange but it was derived from two words: “iPod” and “broadcast”!
